The Atlas Gallery and Exhibition Space. A website will be developed for the purposes of a research programme carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and the Research Institute for Cultural Development. The website will not only present the results of the two-year research of exhibition spaces in Serbia but will also become a unique online tool for those working in the cultural sphere. The site will facilitate interaction and networking across the cultural sphere with the aim of easing communication, exchange of ideas and the systematisation of outputs. Gallery space and other exhibition spaces will gain increased visibility not only in terms of exhibitors but also in terms of others involved in the cultural sphere such as socially responsible businesses or corporations, non-governmental organisations and also individuals who are unable to access these kinds of resources on a local level. At the same time, the website will encourage the owners, managers or other employees of galleries and exhibition spaces to think about broadening the functionality of, or otherwise improving, the spaces at their disposal and will seek to improve their business potential.

Belgrade Raw caravan. The idea of a ‘photo fair’ as a place for exchanging experience and knowhow in the field of photography was initiated 2011 by the photography collective, Belgrade Raw. Thus far, two successful photo fairs have been held with a third, planned for 2014, aiming to present the results of workshops across five Serbian cities. The aesthetic created by Belgrade Raw is now recognisable beyond Belgrade and has become synonymous with the active recording of everyday life in the city and has contributed to the creation of a unique photo archive, which both complements traditional records of life in local communities and represents a viable alternative to them. With the aim of spreading these ideas to other towns in Serbia, this year will see the first Raw Caravan, which will support the creation of a national network of photographers and photography organisations that adhere to a similar aesthetic as Belgrade Raw.
